No Bank Login, No Account Switch

An expense tracker that never asks for your bank login

Some apps read your SMS. Others go further and ask for bank credentials, or require you to switch to their bank account entirely. Spenrol works with whatever bank you already have — share a payment screenshot or log manually, and never hand over a login.

Two different asks

"No SMS access" and "no bank login" are not the same promise

SMS-reading apps parse the messages your bank already sends you — a narrower access request, but still a full read of your inbox, not just financial alerts. Bank-login apps ask for more: your actual account credentials, or a requirement to open a new account with them to unlock budgeting features at all.

Jupiter is the clearest example of the second kind: it's a Federal Bank neo-bank, so its pots and spending insights only cover money that flows through a Jupiter account. If your salary lands in HDFC or SBI and you're not willing to switch, Jupiter's budgeting layer never sees most of your spending.

Spenrol asks for neither. No SMS access, no bank credentials, no account switch — you log the spend, and Spenrol works with whichever bank the money actually came from.

How it works

Every bank works the same way here

01

Pay as usual

HDFC, SBI, Axis, ICICI — whichever bank sits behind your GPay, PhonePe, or Paytm, nothing changes about how you pay.

02

Share or log it

Share the payment screenshot into Spenrol, or enter the amount manually. No account credentials involved either way.

03

Tag and track

Pick a category, tag the intent, and it's in your Smart Spending Score — regardless of which bank the money came from.
